This is the stuff I've just ordered from NewEgg, mWave and pctoys, does it pass the bored anandtech forum zombie test?

Motherboard: DFI LanParty NF4 SLI-DR (selected because it has more than 4 SATA ports)
CPU: AMD Opteron 165 Dual Core (selected because it overclocks like a god)
RAM: G.SKILL 1GB DDR 500 SDRAM (PC 4000) (selected because a stranger told me to)
GPU: eVga 7800GT (selected because I do enjoy the occasional game)
Heatsink: Scythe Ninja (selected because it has Ninja in the name. That and it's quiet)
Fan for the Heatink: Nexus 120mm (selected because it's quiet)
Mousepad: fUNC 1030 (selected because they say it's good stuff)

All of this is scheduled to rest comfortably in a P-180 along with 2x250GB SATA Hds , Nearby will be a Dell 2405FPW, a Logitech Fusion webcam, mx1000 mouse, Saitek Eclipse Keyboard and some logitech 2.1 speakers.

So, dear brothers and sisters, what think ye of this system I've just finished? Have I committed a glaring mistake? Have I thrown money in the wind? Am I the mugu or the master?

Are you fscking insane? Grab a truckload of those pre overclocked 7800s and for god sakes get yourself two of these, 4 to 8 of these and one of these. Then you'll be sitting pretty with the CPU horsepower for quite a while. (BTW that's what I run)

Oh, and I'll buy all the Opteron 254s and 280s you can steal.

It's only that expensive because its a hold over (as in its not manufactuered anymore, newegg doesn't buy em anymore, rarely sell any, so its not competively priced), and only for compaq proliant servers. and by the way, it's DDR266. So, you were saying? If you wanted high high density (for whatever reasons) the best you'd get is this
