I believe you need to go to Start-Run and type command to get a DOS box first.

Make sure you have everything backed up however, as I have seen this not go so well...

Start/Run "convert x: /fs:ntfs", x=drive letter. Partition Magic 6 can also convert from NTFS back to FAT32. Since NTFS is no longer readable by a boot floppy, you could also install the Recovery Console as a boot-up option: Run "i386/winnt32.exe /cmdcons".

Heres what the MS docs say...

Convert
Converts FAT and FAT32 volumes to NTFS. You cannot convert the current drive. If convert cannot lock the drive it will offer to convert it the next time the computer restarts.

convert [drive:] /fs:ntfs [/v]

Parameters
drive:
Specifies the drive to convert to NTFS.

/fs:ntfs
Specifies that the volume be converted to NTFS.

/v
Specifies verbose mode. All messages will be displayed during conversion.

You may need to be at the msdos prompt.... Start -> Run -> cmd

for those that have done conversions, how long would it take for, like a 20 gig drive full of fat 32 stuff to be converted to NTFS? I have never used NT or 2000, but plan to dual boot in my next system and i am just trying to learn some stuff about it.
