Alpha Pep 66t (sunon) vs. ThermalTake Volcano 6Cu

If you had to pick the BETTER heatsink for an AMD Athlon XP 1900+, which would you pick? Comments?

The PEP66 is a good ole' timer, better than a Volcano 6Cu IMO(which I have used before on a friends system).

Although at that price, why not put a Sunon fan on an SK6? Just lap the base a little bit and you'll have better cooling for a few bucks more.

I had the pep66 in my computer until i replaced it recently with the alpha 8045, because I just couldn't stand the noise from that 7krpm delta fan. www.overclockers.com recently reviewed the old pep66 and it still performs pretty well compared to the new heatsinks.

I am really surprised with the feedback. I have the Pep 66t but decided to pick up the TT Volcano 6Cu. I wanted a good cooling without a lot of noise. Plus, I saw the Volcano was on AMD recommended list, but the PEP 66t was not. Both my PEP and the Volcano have the same RPM and both have a copper base, so I figured they would offer very similar performance.
