My plastic washers are striped from installing the Heatsink. I was wondering where i can find replacements or better yet a better way of installing the heatsink. I need to replace my 1.4 Tbird with a XP2000+. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Any hardware store will have the nylon nuts and washers. They are #6 by 32 thread. better fix would be nylon washers and steel nuts. Just don't overtighten.

wow how the hell did u manage that. u shouldn't need to have it that tight. when i install my 8045 i use my fingers to hold the nut so that it is impossible to strip the threads.
