I've been looking for the best way to cool off my T-bird when I get it, and buying an Alpha kit without fan and coupling a 38cfm fan from 2cooltek seems the best way to go . . . has anyone tried this? How well does it perform?

Well, I loathe cats, 2Cool, so that sounds like music to my ears. :D

Real World Test:

My Alpha6035 With Sunon 21 CFM fan: Full load = 48C-50C

My Alpha6035 With Delta 38 CFM fan: Full load = 41-44C + earplugs

:D

yea, this 38 cfm fan is definitely damn loud. I get so annoyed by it that i only use it when i have to. Instead of this delta 38 cfm fan i am using this no name probably like 10 cfm fan and i now have my sanity back. This 38 cfm fan is really pushing my buttons. I put my hand over the fan to see if a fan guard/filter will help with noise and it sliced a part of my hand off. DAMN! that hurt

After using the Delta fan for so long, I don't even notice it. Because I'm so into what I'm reading on the screen ;) And that's with the case cover off 24/7.
