~~ALPHA owners LQQK 80mm to 120mm fan adaptor~~

LQQK www.1coolpc.com/ has these. I've been looking awhile. Always wanted to put a 120mm fan sucking on the Alpha now I can. 😀 I used a 92mm to 60 blowing on a SVC golden gate that stunk (but was quiet) becuse it blew on the HS but with the sucking on an alpha design this 120mm adaptor should work as well as the other was bad.

holy crap!

man I thought my swifty looked big in my case. man any of you guys wanna get one and post some results. don't usually trust info from merchants.

Nice..may have to go with one now that my PC is a HTS as well.....fan noise in quiet movie scenes is annoying :| Gotta buy the 120mm though...gonna get expensive.

Edit: Shipping isn't too bad, only $2 bux to DC area.

I wouldn't trust that behemoth coupled with a heavy 120mm fan on my heatsink. Not to mention who knows how much it restricts airflow. Craziness, I tell you!

These adapters don't work as well as one might think. I have and 80 to 60 for my Swiftech MCX370 (blowing in) and it actually makes
the temps a bit worse. (The adapter is now in my desk drawer) I think the restricted airflow actually causes back pressure which greatly
reduces the efficiency of the fan.

Yes I agree if it was blowing... but look at the top that is what I said already. But this is not good for a swifty but Alpha owners have HS that get sucked so the adaptor should work well.

Yep...suck is the way to go with these and an 8045. Also, it doesn't look to be that deep which is a good thing. 2 rear blowers and a blowhole on top would probably be very effective...but damn! 120mm fans are hella expensive.....

well, if you have a surplus shops around you...it'd be cheap. I got my 120x38mm panaflo for 3 bucks used.

if you're in the bay area, there's HSC and weirdstuff.
