Alpha 8045 or SLK-800??

i say its a tossup (at times either wins in shootouts ive seen....but mostly slk wins)
i went for slk over the swiftech and alpha cuz its ezier to install/uninstall lol

 
SLK-800 was got the Top Performer award from HardOCP. coupled with a vantec tornado, it ripped away on the Alpha and the Swiftech. hope this helps, i'm actually getting my 900U =) so w00t for me =)
 
The question is too vague. With low noise fans, the Alpha works better because of its lower restriction design. With midrange fans, it's a tossup, and with fans that make your ears bleed, the slk 800 comes out on top.

The slk800 is also more susceptible to clogging in less than pristine environments because of the very narrow fin spacing... it fits more motherboards, and is a lot easier to install than the alpha...
 
heya i have the same fan setup then (sunon 80something cfm fan....which is the tornado before vantec rebadges them)

still havnt installed it yet, waiting for some cash flow to get mobo lol
