Alpha 6035 seems to be best fan to me, but will it be too loud with delta 38cfm? suggestions wanted

Okay so i am lookiing at buying the alpha6035 with a delta38cfm. This seems to be the(or one of the) top performers. Is there anything else you think will do the same performace, quieter. Will this be too loud. I am looking to buy from 2cooltek. I am also thinking of adding 2 80mm sunon blowholes(not the noisy high output but the regular) how will this factor into the equation? PLEASE ADVISE

You are just asking for a nightmare noise situation with that plan.

Ask yourself why you need those two blowholes. Looks nice, cools well but in most cases completely unnecessary. Blowholes are for people who don't care about noise.

The Delta Fan does not bother me, it is mainly personal preference.

If you use the delta fan it will be much louder. You will probably start complaining about the noise just as users of the GlobalWin FOP38 complain. I've heard it is a loud high pitched noise, and many people dislike it, which is why I bought the Alpha 6035 rather than the GW FOP38. I will not be changing the fan unless absolutely necessary.

The Delta is a very, very *very* loud, whining fan, but it's the best 60mm ball bearing fan, by far. I'd go for a Sunon 60mm, the performance increase is minimal to the delta, but if you really don't care about noise, then the delta black label will be fine.

i got a 6035 w/ a sanyo denki fan since i'm trying to get my system as absolutely silent as possible. i was considering the delta for pure power but then i heard it and wow did i hear it. it's by far one of the loudest fans i've ever heard, and was extremely distracting, i wouldn't touch it with a 10 ft. pole.
