Alot of Startup programs killing resources...

Hi guys, alot of programs that start when windows boot, is killing all my resources, but i dont know how to stop them...because im pretty noob computer-wise....


can anybody recommend programs that can stop them from loading. .. or ways to stop the startup programs from loading?

Run msconfig (Start->Run->msconfig). You'll be able to deselect specific programs from running.
Also, checkout Start Menu -> Programs -> StartUp, for both the current use and "All Users".
I think there's more, but I can't recall them off the top of my head.
