So I promised my GF that I would take her to go see along came polly tonight. I really don't want to but i owe her becasue she usually does what I want. Is this a good movie? Or will I be totally bored? I like Ben Stiller alot but Jennifer Pitt bothers me.
 
It's pretty bad from what I hear...pretty bad indeed.

To be honest, all the movies look like poo. I went to see lotr today and looked around afterwards. There was nothing worth my 2 hrs even though it would have been free.
 
it wasnt awesome, but was better than i expected. a few really good laughs, could be worse...she could ask you to go to cold mountain or something, bah
 
Not as good as I expected. The funny parts in the trailers were the only ones in the movie. I was disappointed--I usually really enjoy Ben Stiller's movies.

Cold Mountain was better than Along Came Polly.
 
I went to see that movie on a first date... I thought it was good, I had a few good laughs.
 
i just saw this movie, it was pretty good. don't understand why critics think this movie is so bad 🙁 it had some pretty funny moments. they need some younger critics out there.
 
It was very average, if not a little less. It's all been done before, and it's ironic because in one scene they play basketball, which sums up the whole movie in a single line, "hit and miss."
 
On "America This Week" the guy wouldn't stop talking about how bad it is.

I mean, it's got that Ben Stiller guy in it, so that's -50 points right there.
 
OT but related because of Ben Stiller, has anyone seen the trailer for "Starsky and Hutch"? It looks pretty funny, and Snoop Dogg as Huggy Bear is just too much.

I expected it to suck, but it was very funny. Philip Seymour Hoffman and Hank Azaria were hilarious.

Yeah I was uneasy about taking a girl to the movie (it was kind of a first-date), but it worked out well. We both thought it was pretty funny and we got some laughs from it.
