Alone in Vegas

So...I'm going to Vegas for Comdex from 11/18-11/20. Usually have friends that go with me but this year, like last, I'm going by myself. Last year, I just gambled a little bit and basically went back to my hotel room and slept. Is there anything to do? I hate going to buffets by myself, I feel so awkward. What else is there to do in Vegas besides the nudie bar (I don't feel comfortable going by myself)?

btw...anyone else going to Vegas for Comdex?

I agree about going to the buffets alone, that kind of sucks. But there should be more than enough to do there.
 
how can you not find something to do in vegas??? just walk around lookin at everything. Do a little gambling, a little nudie bar, a little drinking....and the yellow pages ; )

i go to vegas often enough (about 5 times a year) to have seen most things there is to see. i'm just wondering if there is anything else out there. oh yeah...hookers and 'escort services' are out of the question.

whenever i'm here with my friends, i have fun but when i'm by myself, i just can't seem to find anything to do by myself...maybe i'll just hit the bar and drink or hit the poker rooms.
 
Dude, climb Mt. Charleston. Comfy shoes, 3/4 gallons water, camera....6 hours up, 3 down.

Also, rent an atv and tour the valley of fire.

You'll be very tired but you'll be amazed at the sights and still have $$ in your pocket.

Go and take a tour of Hoover dam! I've never done it, but I want to.

Also, there are some museums in Vegas, but I've also never checked them out myself. Might be nice though.

I'm always too busy boozin' and gamblin' 🙂 I'm going again Dec 21-23!! Woohoo!!

i've been to hoover dam...wasn't too impressed with it. i'm going again in dec. 19-21. but this time with my friends so it should be more interesting.

Ah, that's a shame. I wouldn't even go by myself, even if I really wanted to go to Comdex.

I'm going to Comdex and I'm heading there on the 16th (Sunday) and coming back on the 18th (Tuesday). Looks like we'll just be missing each other.

go out and take pictures? seriously, if i was to go to somewhere without any friends, i would most likely just go out and take pictures everywhere...

i don't like video poker because i prefer the actual cards dealt to me. the grand canyon...now that was impressive!

taking pictures isn't a bad idea. i could just take pictures of random people and knowing vegas there should tons of weird ones.

about my dog...i'm moving on but i just hope that she is with someone that will wholeheartedly care for her as much as i did. 🙁
