I heard this game is not very good. I rather enjoyed Alone In The Dark: The New Nightmare as well as the original AITD game.

The premise seems good, but the gameplay seems like it might be a bit bizarre.

Its situations like this I really think about getting a console and the ability to rent a game, just in case it rivals watching a loved one being autopsied in terms of fun.

3.5 seems horrific, lol....the SecureROM looks to be the last thing on the list not to buy this garbage.

I am diggin it on 360, granted its not ground breaking but there are some EXCELLENT puzzles and some INSANELY COOL levels. A building escape and chase scene come to mind. Im about halfway through.

I got Battlefield Bad Company at the same time and havent touched it much at all (played 3 levels thought it sucked) and it got an 8.5. Funny how subjective review are.

If I had to give it a rating I would say 7/10 at least. (and I am not on Ataris payroll, but shame on them for this review shenanigans)

Man, I've been waiting so much for this game. I had high hopes, but 3,5.....it means that is just unplayable. :(

Thats true, sometimes reviews aren't that enlightening for certain tastes....for example I *HATED* the incredibles movie....thats the only movie I've ever left before the ending it was so bad in my opinion, yet I think it got decent reviews.

So did anyone take the plunge on the PC version. Seems it's vitrually unplayable to some people.
