Three of my best friends and I from way back gather annually for a golf showdown at some far-flung locations. Well, as far as our wallets (and wives) actually allow us to.
This year we're headed to Canmore, Alberta, Canada for a 5 round tournament. The schedule is as follows:
Wednesday: Kananskis - Lorette Course
Thursday: Kananskis - Kidd Course Course
Friday: Stewart Creek
Saturday: Glen Eagles in Cochrane
Sunday (on the way home): Wolf Creek Golf Course
I can't wait. The winner of each day gets all his food/drinks provided by the others, and the overall winner takes home an engraved cup. So far we have a threepeat winner I'm looking to upset this week. I have always come in second, and this just might be my year. I have won days, just not the entire thing. My strategy this year is humour and mind games ... 😉
