SPCR published an article concerning my Lanboy and it's unique cooling system. Basically it was designed for maximum silence.......but if you have an over-clocked/hot CPU, this setup with a slightly faster duct fan could maximze your cooling ability. The 92mm generic fan in the pictures could be upgraded to a faster model if you needed more cooling.
Running like you see in the photos, with the duct fan at 2200rpm, ambient at 26c, maximum temperature running cpuburn is about 42c. And the setup is still quiet. Most of the time the duct fan is not running and the setup is near silent.
This was a very easy project and well worth the effort.
