I'm honestly not sure what the main problem is. So many Virginians are poorly educated and incredibly forgetful that I think they may have actually forgotten the rules of the road.

On the other hand, so many Virginians are spoiled and selfish and self-centered and self-absorbed that I think they deliberately break the laws even when they do know them.

In any case, why are there so many of them out late on a Wed. night? I'm an unemployed bum, I don't have anything better to do.

Shorty...maybe you need a thicker phonebook under your ass so you can actually see over the dashboard to see where you're going.

Well, you've had plenty of thick objects in your ass.

Has it made you a better driver?

No, drivers in general are not intentionally evil. They just don't give a shit. They're clueless, apathetic and distracted.

Hell, I have had so many drivers pull out in front of me, the wife won't let me drive. Seriously I do not know how I have been able to keep my fenders straight.

I don't trust anyone else on the roads while I'm driving. That's what keeps me from ever getting into an accident and I have yet to get in one. Only thing I ever worry about it getting rear ended while sitting at a stop light.

Now imagine if you had been driving a motorcycle instead of a car ...

It's not just Virginians, it's the Marylanders as well. It amazes me at how shitty people drive in the DMV area as a whole. I've been talking about getting a dashcam for like 2 years now just to record the dumb shit I see on a daily basis.

I've also been making it a point at stop lights to just look around and see how many drivers I can see at the light are looking down at their phones. It's definitely higher than 75% of people who do this. Then the light turns green and everyone just sits there because the people in front are also looking at their phones.

Virginian checking in. last Mon, my husband was run off the road by a mack truck who decided to merge into my husband's lane. He ended up swerving to avoid the big rig, and hit a guard rail. The big rig driver did not stop.

Are you sure it was a Mack truck...and not a Peterbilt, Kenworth, Volvo, or one of the other brands out there?

That's like saying he got run off the road by a Ford pickup...when it COULD have been a Chevy, GMC, Dodge, or Toyota...
