Almost got involved in a police pursuit.

I was driving from the post office to a storage facility this morning at about 10:30am and the road is a one way street. I am driving in the left most lane passing the police station and I see a police car pull out behind me, swerve, turn on its lights and speed down the road. It said traffic on the side so I didn't pay much attention.

About 2 lights down I see this black cavalier zoom through a red light (perpendicular to the road I'm on) with a whole bunch of police cruisers in pursuit... makes since why that first cop car went screaming down the road. It turns out he turned left onto the twin one way street (going opposite direction I was going) and made another left onto the street that was 1 light ahead. By this time I had been travelling forward, and BOOM! This black cavalier pulls out directly in front of me and I almost hit the damn thing. Next thing I know, 6 or 7 police cruisers swerve around my car and in pursuit of the black cavalier. I kinda wish I had been speeding so he would have either hit me or had to stop. (it was low speed when he turned).


Anyway thats my fun story for the day

I saw something like that once.. Was walking to the bus stop in Hillsboro, and a sh!tty old beat up Toyota pickup flew passed me, with 3 copcars in hot persuit.. It went by me, turned the corner, and then I saw it go by me again, going the opposite direction, 1 street down. I heard a screech, a crash.. and then the guy came running out from behind these buildings with like 4 cops chasing him. It was all a little much for me, so I just kept walking.. lol

Accidents blow. Dealing with insurance, people. Always end up losing in an accident. Just be glad you didn't get hit.

I bolted from the cops once. Pretty exciting stuff, but it really would have sucked if they had caught me, since it would have been in my driveway, and my mom was home.

EDIT: Don't try this at home, kids.
