Some dumb ass does a left hand turn right in front of me while I was doing about 45mph in a 50.

It is dark, and the roads were wet. It had been sprinkling for about an hour. I slammed on the brakes (they locked up, 66 Mustang with stock drums) and skidded till I was about 2 inches behind him. I damn near slammed into him, it was so close. I was still doing about 15mph before are speeds equaled and I damn near hit him. He just kept going and would not look over when I pulled up next to him as he was making another turn.

I was so pissed. Asshole drivers. I?m so glad I saw him in time, and that no one was behind me.

Damn.

Asshole drivers suck, indeed.

Some people are not "in touch" with their cars, and suck at judging speed/distance of objects.

They pull out infront of you, and accelerate like a snail.. and it's like.. dude... it's the one on the right.

last time someone almost hit me, i pulled next to them (while they ignored me) and hit 7400rpm .. let off, and the blowoff valve releasing 14psi of boost scared her a little... last time she pulls in front of a nissan at 45...

Oh. Hmm. I took it to meant someone pulled out infront of him, but now I read it that someone suddenly took a left turn while infront of him..

Happens on occasion for me too. Idiots turning onto the road and then letting the wind from behind push their car forward. Total lack of awareness of their environment.

Actually, now you mention it, it was how our old '85 Bonneville was written off. The lady in the Ford pickup was at a stop on the left lane, while the car in front of her was at a standstill waiting for opposing traffic to go by so she can turn. Meanwhile the Ford pickup decides she doesn't want to wait any longer. She makes a right lane change unaware of my bro's car, and BHAM, there goes our car :( Still deemed as a 50/50 fault since he rear-ended her. Didn't lose any merits though.

Idiots who want to endanger themselves, fine. Just don't take any of us with you.

Follow him for a mile or two on his ass with your brights on, and then pull a U-turn. :D

Haha--Reminds me of the time I was in Florida. An old lady did a U-turn into my lane. Not only did I (and other drivers) have to brake suddenly, but she then decided to stop while her car was straddling all lanes!

I was too amused to be mad . . .
