Almost got in a car accident today :(

I was driving on a street going around 55mph while this dumb ass gets out from a parking lot not even 10 feet away from me. He didn't even bother speeding up. I tried to go to the next lane to avoid pressing the brakes hard. I didn't see any cars on that lane, so I went for it. Well, some other car from two lanes away tried to go to that same lane I went for. So I turned back to the my lane and I had to stomp on the breaks to avoid hitting that lovely human that started all this that was in front of me. And that lovely human in front of me decides to step on the breaks completely to stop on a yellow light that just appeared and he was right under the light too. My car kind of lost control, but I regained it and stopped. I love my fast reflexes. That's good I decided to fix the brakes and replace the tires too, or I might have got in a accident.

Just wanted to share. :)

Me too. Was taking a left at an intersection with 2 stops signs, had plenty of time to make it so I hit the gas. Had no traction whatsoever for some reason so I barely moved and by the time I started going the lane I was turning onto had a car that would hit me so I had to stop in the middle of the intersection, luckily oncoming traffic in the other lane stopped and waited for my dumb ass. I need new tires.

Only streets in Ohio that are 55mph are highways. And none of the highways allow direct access from a parking lot. Were you spending in a business district? Maybe, you should slow down just a bit

Saying "lovely human" should be no more acceptable than saying "n!gger."

And I don't feel bad for hijacking this thread, because the thread is pointless to begin with.

Why? Something wrong with your brakes? Or it it that the "lovely human" would have won if he stayed in front?
