almost going to start my 1st build

components:
3200+
K8V SE
GF4 TI4200
WD 80 GB IDE
waiting for the rest which is
3200 PC KINGMAX
nec2510a etc

i want to know if i should get the latest bios and drivers(for all the components?), if so what do i do after d/l them? do i just put them on a floppy then when inserted they automatically update? more questions would probably come up later

I wouldn't worry about the bios just as long as it works. Worry about that later.

Install the drivers that are included with the parts and then go to the individual manufacturer parts sites, download to your hard drive, and install them. There is no need to use floppy disks.

this comp won't access the internet at this moment so floppy is needed but thanks for your input

I wouldn't worry about the MB bios from the start.
You may need an update for your hard drive. In my case, my system is scsi and I had to make a floppy before starting for the newest Adaptec driver. I did this in advance.
Yes, floppies are still used for updates.

Load them from a cd, burn a disc with all the drivers on it and then use it.
