ALMOST FREE LONG DISTANCE??

I've heard from the DVD Coupon Post that there is a website called talk.com, where you are reimbursed 100% for your long distance bills in Amazon.com gift certificates. You pay $5.95 as a monthly fee, 7 cents a minute, and after you pay your bill, you'll receive Amazon GC's in the amount within 5 days of payment. It sounds really awesome, but I'm not sure I trust those guys over there. Anyone with experience in this?

I prefer I-link, but whatever floats your boat. You need to find out if there's some kinda contract that binds you to the service for a long period of time. Amazon.com isn't exactly in great financial shape, though I think they're finally gonna start turning profits. Those GC's could become as worthless as confederate dollars

I wouldn't worry about anything regarding amazon.com, just try using their name illegally and you will be swarmed on by an army of attorneys who will take everything you own and throw you out in the street.

If you're worried about amazon.com going under, you should also worry about getting struck by lightning and get some prozak.

It would have been nice if you gave a link to find this deal, instead of posting a question.

This sounds pretty killer. I'd like to know too... anyone have any experience with this or know what if there is a catch? I spend a good amount on ld every month, and wouldn't feel so bad about it if I could apply that money to toys.

Talk.com, my past and horrid LD provider. I'm staying away.
"No Hidden fees!" they advertised. Yah, just "required" fees that other LD providers don't charge.

jrichards, what are the "required fees"? I spend a lot on long distance anyway, so a minimum r aything like that isn'y a problem. Just wondering if there really is a catch to this. I couldn't find one.

If you can't type in www.talk.com, they sorry, your not quite as bright as you try to portray. It's a possible hot deal that obviously some people have had problems with....part of this forum is to see if people have had problems with some of the deals posted.
