I had a MCDB midterm today..Biology of Cancer, and history has shown that our prof uses the same questions for the midterms each and every year..so all I did was study off two past midterms for about an hour, and today I finished our 50 question MC test in literally 5 minutes.
I do really feel bad for people who study the "legit" way, which is through a thick course reader and really dull, complex lectures, in a hall of over 300 people so there's really no time for questions and stuff like that..and we don't even have a discussion section for the class like other classes where people are split into smaller groups.
I've heard from lots of people that have taken the class that those who take good notes, pay good attention, and do the required readings end up with B's and C's, while those who never go to class and just study off the past tests get A's. And I know that if I taken it "legit", I would've missed over half the questions and be sulking right now..and I certainly have not learned anything from this class so far.
Does anyone here see anything wrong with this picture?
