Do you call your Trans Am the "Red Dragon" and is it street legal?

It's street legal, and no, it's not the red dragon. It's the Angry Dragon. lol
It's still awaiting Vortec heads and vortec TPI intake.

Bahhaha.. my 4.3L V6 on the Astro already has Vortec intake/heads 😎
.. as of now its in the shop however... 🙁

yeah well, this is a 91 and Vortec stuff wasn't factory for it.
I think you'll be pleased with the results. I put Vortec heads and intake on my 89, and the difference was significant.

must adjust sights on my lightnig gun and try again.
get the mettal ladder out chain yourself to it so you don't fall off and hold a 9 iron up while i take aim...

hua!!!! and was it life-altering like everybody says? (just wondering, as i never had a such exporoence...)

Saw an interesting show on lightning once. It doesn't have to strike you to kill you. Just striking near you can do the trick.

Was outside working on my Trans Am, when a storm came rumbling in. I started putting stuff back, and then a bolt of lightning came out of nowhere and struck about 5 feet away from me.

There was so much static electricity in the air that a spark arced from my hand to the metal of the car 4 feet away. My whole left arm was numb for about 30 minutes afterwords.

Thankfully i didn't crap myself.
I had something similar happen to me when I was 24. The lightning hit the shed 5 feet from me and arced to the door frame I was contacting. I was thrown 5 feet on to my back. My right arm was paralysed for 2 hours. I didn't die but I sure didn't feel good. At first all I saw was dancing sparks on the shed and the door frame. Then I lifted my arm to move away from the door frame and blammo, I was out for 2 mins on the patio floor.

I have a great respect for lightning now. 😉

it ruined the radio in the car,and i also;Thankfully did not mess myself, 🙂
the tree died,i am still here,oh the car got crushed about 2 years ago,due to terminal rust.

No, shooting lightning is my job. 😉

Oh wait, wrong Raiden. That would actually be Rayden who does the whole lightning thing. NOT Raiden.

Oh well. It would still be cool to shoot lightning out your fingers.

Dude...you've been struck by lightning twice. BUY A FRICKEN LOTTERY TICKET. and don't fly.

In some areas it's really not that uncommon. When I was in high school in Tampa we saw lightning strike INSIDE THE HOUSE twice, and there is no such thing as a building in that area without lightning rods. The first indoor strike shattered the TV screen and the 2nd one blew up the alarm system. The lid on the metal box for the alarm system actually flew off and hit the opposite wall.

Statistically the average lightning strike density across the entire state of FL is 25 strikes per square meter per year, so if you stand outside all the time (not just when it's sunny) odds are you WILL get hit many times. There was one guy they interviewed on the local news nicknamed "Sparky" because he plays golf during every thunderstorm and had been hit 27 times by then.
