Had a whole small bottle of Ass Kickin' Hot Sauce on three pieces of pizza and it absolutely destroyed me. It was worse than food poisoning, though it tasted awesome at the time.

I ate couple pounds of really spicy crawfish from last night crawfish boil. My butt was burning this morning. I think we still have about 20lbs left which I'll eat later tonight. Some foods are worth suffering over.

I did that a few weeks ago and couldn't tell the difference between xxtra hot and regular flaming hot cheetos.

Was very disappointed.

I had a vindaloo curry at a members-only club that a girl had taken me too. I saw 4 chillis by it on the menu so I thought: Hell Yes.

5 pints of beer, two glasses of water, and I was still barely 1/3 of the way through the curry, and pretty drunk. I thought fortifying myself with liquid stubbornness would help me get through t. I gave up and just ate the rice plain like a bitch. My stomach actually hurt. And I shit magma the next morning.

And I eat spicy food everyday. I mean, sze chuan 'ma lat' stuff that makes your whole mouth go numb, and jalapenos whole, and literally tablespoons of ground chilli powder on all my food. But this... this was something else.

My daughter has eaten a bag in one night before. Hell, she got three bags from one of her friends for her birthday. They were gone by day 3.

Habanero pepper. A guy I worked with brought some fresh ones in. I took a small bite, and thought it wasn't so hot, then nom'd the rest of it down fast. HOLY SHIT that heat came up on me. I drove to job in misery and when I got there I could hardly move. It was 85+F out, and I had to go in the Port-A-Pot with a case of the napalm shits. I thought I was gonna have to go home. I eventually recovered enough to work, but the first couple hours were rough.

For prepared food, I got vegetable jalfreezi from a local Indian place. You order your food, and select the heat level on a 1-10 scale. I ordered 15 heat, and it was pretty powerful. The hottest food I ever had prepared. It was /almost/ too hot, but I'll get the same thing again next time I go.

My daughter picked some up from the store. They were $.20 each and thought i would like them.

She said the sign said cherry peppers or something. i really didn't pay attention. i sliced it up and had a bite. it was good and not spicy thought t hey would be good on a cheeseburger. so sliced it up and threw it on my burger.

oh my god..i was not ready for the amount of heat it had.

I've got a bottle of "Daves insanity ghost pepper sauce" that's pretty fucking hot. A teaspoon of that on your food and you really know it's there!

I generally use encona Caribbean hot sauce though as you can slather a decent amount of that on without dying. :D

Raw pepper wise I stick to scotch bonnets as they have a particular taste and smell that I like.

Are you talking about Flaming Hot Cheetos, or do they actually have two different varieties of hot Cheetos?

Because I'd love it if they had a variety of Cheetos that are actually really spicy. Flaming Hot Cheetos are not very spicy.

A friend of mine is making a ghost chili sauce, and it should be on the market soon. I don't know what the name is yet; they had issues with the first name chosen, but the sauce is delicious; the best I've ever had. Keep your eyes on this site(under construction), and buy some if you get a chance.

That one is definitely not like the others. Jalapenos are a mild chili but maybe the chili powder you are using is as well...
Also making ones month go numb is nothing. It is when it starts to numb the rest of your face that you know its hot.

To be somewhat back on topic...
One of the less intelligent things I have done was eat basically a whole dried ghost chili.
I also made a spray out of it to skill some fungus.. but all that did was almost kill me when the aerosol kind of spread into the rest of my apartment.
I couldn't taste or smell it but my lungs hurt so bad.

Hottest thing I've probably eaten is Tye's Stuffed Habeneros at a restaurant called "Lova and War in Texas"

5 very large bright orange habeneros stuffed with a cheddar and cream cheese, fried, and dusted with powdered bhut jolokia (ghost chili)

They're great stuff.
