Alltel service in Midwest down?

so...i assume that you have alltel and live in the midwest, or you know someone with alltel from the midwest that you can't reach. I don't quite follow, I've never had problems, except on my parents farm, but that is the boonies, and no one would get service there. I guess you should clarify...

edit: how do you raise someone on the phone?

It's been working for me today. I just sent and received a few texts about two hours ago and there was no problem. Talked on the phone with no problem but that was about 5 pm (9:48 now).

Yea, I have alltel and so do the people i'm trying to reach. They are having the same issues - call people and get somebody totally different. Text messages work sometimes.

Never have any trouble with them. Except when my phone got cooked by lightning but that isn't verizon's fault (no I didn't have it plugged in during the storm).

Try makin a call in Western KS with Verizon....Good Luck, not sayin you go there much, but thats Alltel Country...

I've never had a problem with Alltel until now. 2 years of good service. THis is getting ridiculous though.

Yep. Alltel was down Friday until about 10:00 PM.
