Always shave with the grain - any other way and you'll ruin your skin (knicks, ingrown hairs) and cause yourself to breakout.

But I can't seem to get a close shave that way?

I'd like to know what the top rated electrics are right now?
I'm looking for something new, as my golden oldie is just about ready to be put to pasture.

The Philips triple head shavers look really good, I just have no clue what you get for the extra cash of the higher models.

It's too hard to shave with the grain when I shave my legs.

Yes, I shave my legs.

I shave against the grain, and haven't yet had any problems. Shaving with the grain leaves my face rough to the touch. The only other special "process" I have is to shave after taking a shower. I then wash my face with a bit of warm/hot water, put on the shaving gel, shave away, and then splash on the aftershave balm.

And my razor of choice is the Mach 3 Turbo...because I like the cool blue color.
