I've never used it, but it seems like a great deal.

Yes. Why people feel better about themselves giving money to allofMp3 when it's technically illegal is beyond me.
If you're gonna break the law anyway, you might as well get something for free

And this comes as a surprise to anyone?
Oh well, I don't use AllOfMp3 anyway.
Split hairs much? It's piracy and you know it. I used to hear this same argument from old Napster users back in the day. They pay for their internet connection so how could downloading the pirated files be wrong? Answer: because you know it is.Originally posted by: EyeMWing

And I don't care if the service you're paying doesn't have the right to distribute it. You're paying SOMEONE, and therefore it's not piracy.

Because of the quality. AllOfMP3.com is all about the quality, in the format(s) that I want. Nowhere else offers this, except for paying the UK's ripoff prices for CDs (some are £16 each here!).

So why not just shoplift the CDs?
Are you serious? It is illegal. Just because it is questionably legal in Russia doesn't make it legal for users in the US.Originally posted by: TallBill
Lol, you cant get this quality of downloaded music for free. Besides, if you go that route, your probably sharing the file as well which is where the RIAA really sticks it to you. They've never gone against allofmp3.com users because they cant (yet). Besides, its not a sharing service, its a purchasing service which I've still never seen proven to be illegal.
If you want to get law enforcement involved, the quickest way I know of is to start selling material that you're distributing without the permission of the rightsholders. Of course it's illegal. At least if you're "sharing" you only get sued in civil court.Originally posted by: TallBill
