Alligator Pizza?

We were looking through Pizza Schmizza's menu when I ran across:

Alligator
Lousiana farm raised alligator, marinated in buttermilk lemon-garlic
broiled with sweet red peppers atop a bed of Mama Schmizza's noodles.

Weird.

I've had crab pizza before. It's pretty good.

Lite sauce, crab meat, Old Bay...yum, yum! 🙂

Alligator is pretty good food. I hate to say it, but it tastes like tough and tangy chicken.

nah, you're right. it does taste like chicken, but it's still good. i'd try the pizza.

Nah, it's like a fishy tasting rubbery chicken. It resembles squid more than any other kind of seafood. It's not something I will actively seek for again.

The gourmet has spoken.
