I would not run a string of Christmas tree lights off of an Allied/Deer/LC/Foxconn PSU. I have had more failures with those than every other brand combined. Get a Fortron Source 350 for nearly the same price. The allied 400w puts out 320-340w at full load and is not suitable for a mid- to high-range power consumption computer. The 350w Fortron Source/FSP group/Sparkle gives around 454w at full load. Save yourself the trouble, and the RMA, and get a Fortron Source or an Antec, or even an enermax PSU.

In general, I'd agree, but I happen to have this particular PSU in one of my other boxes. I personally think this PSU is the diamond in the rough. It's been very reliable, quiet, and fairly cool running. I'd recommend it.
