VR-Zone is claiming they have some performance numbers for a GTX 550 Ti leaked from a reader of their site. They only have 3dMark 11 and Lost Planet 2 numbers which compare a 5770, a GTS 450 and the GTX 550 Ti.

Tech Report is also claiming that early EU retail listings point to a price of around $200. Seems unlikely to me. Either the performance numbers and specs don't tell the full story, or the pricing is going to be lower.

Well thats about where I thought it would perform. If o/c very high it will get 'near' a gtx 460~768 at 675 mhz imo.
I think initial prices are just that. This part if very mass produced, which it probably will be. Will allow Nvidia to sell it for less than any g104 part , its a simpler gpu after all.

LP2 favors Nvidia cards.. not that I have an issue with the leaks and/or LP2, but based on those numbers.. it might be closer to 5770 than that LP2 benchmark suggests.

200$ pricetag? if it gives less than 460 performance? O_O

that makes no sense., they must be miss informed either about its performance or its price.

I was thinking like 130$ since it should be faster then the 120$ 5770.:hmm:

You can get a GTX460 for $130 without rebate, or $110 AR.
Unless it's faster than them, $130 would make it a joke (but it wouldn't be the first time a card has been given a horrible launch price, NV and AMD have both done it many times).

Is it still going for $120?.. I would never buy a 5770 for that price now.

I'm seeing some 5770's at $99.99 after rebate, with free shipping. Still not a great deal compared to some of the GTX 460 768MB deals at around $110, but not completely crazy if you want a 1GB frame buffer.

I would think this is gonna replace the gtx460 768, mabe the 768mb model is going out the door? Remember the gtx460 768mb was a 200$ MSRP when it was released.

Very similar to the 6870's 240$ launch price and the 5870 which was faster going for under 200$

Could someone post numbers here, I don't want to have to mess around with my IP address to access the site.

Lol. Radeon Ti.

They shouldn't have even bothered with this card, its just an overclocked 450, which is what AIBs are already selling.
