Compare apples to apples. Most Japanese cars are in the sub 25,000 category. If you want to compare sub 25,000 german cars, start comparing Jettas to Accords or Camrys.

Infiniti G35x/FX45
Toyota Avalon (around 30k)
Lexus RX 330/ES300
Acura TL/RL

off the top of my head are way above 30k.

I said most of the Japanese cars are under 25,000. I never said there were none over 25,000. Look at the amount of Japanese cars that are over and under 25,000 and come back to me. Theres probably over a million Camrys and Accords out there.

The system is intended to prevent removal of the ignition key unless the shift lever is in the park position. The company says it may not work properly.

The recall includes some 1999 to 2002 Honda Accord models and all 1997 to 2001 Prelude models. Some 1999 and 2000 Acura TL sedans are also included in the recall.

The company said 11 incidents related to the defect have resulted in minor property damage, but no injuries have been reported.

Honda said it will repair the defect free of charge at authorized dealers when parts become available.

take that all you japcrap fanboys, go buy a quality american vehicle
I bolded the important part for you. Also, my family bought two American cars within the last 3 years... both were Toyotas built in America by Americans.

yes and? the money for said car still goes to a Japanese company...
and all the parts for said cars are imported from japan or built using thier parts and specifications... its still Japanese...
So the jobs created and the wages that the Japanese companies pay American workers don't matter at all? And for the record, domestic companies import their parts from Japan as well. Im not sure if its still the case, but Ford Rangers were basically made out of Mazda parts. (And thats not a unique example)

Seriously. Do you want to see your dollars going to several hundred American auto workers and one Japanese executive or several hundred mexican autoworkers and one American executive.

Please.

I've read this whole thread, and it's like watching two people beating their heads into the same wall, only standing on different sides.

And the wall is a foot thick. To be perfectly blunt, a lot of you are acting like fanboys/humpingidiots over this.

Japanese cars have recalls. American cars have recalls. The Germans, the Swedes, the Brits, the damn Koreans... everybody. The OP is a stupid fanboy, and that's the only reason he posted that. And then he got exactly what he wanted: a flamewar.

I mean really, you guys might as well argue over whether God exists; you're more likely to convince each other than you are to change someone's car choice.

So you reply to my answer and change the criteria again? Ok. So you admit the Maxima has the room, great. Guess what? The Maxima weighs 3500lbs. What's next?

Honda found a problem and they volunteered to fix it.

How is that a problem?

What year of college, out of curiosity? I remember when you posted all those pics with your shirt off and for some reason it made me think you were in high school.

As evidenced by this thread, it seems you really don't know much about American cars. Take shots at me all you want, but the truth hurts.

I'm in my last sophmore term. I never posted pics of myself with my shirt off. All I'm saying is that American cars are generally more roomy and comfortable than Japanese cars. If that is ignorance on the matter....well ok.

Funny. I am and I do.

Thats cool, jap may not be the preferred term but it is certainly better than beloved patriot, beloved patriot, chingchong and pancake face.

The blantant fanboy-ism on all sides here is astounding, the OP is a trolling bastard with a small penis, and this thread should be locked.
