Wimp. -22 right now and I felt fine outside. The only problem was starting the car. My Civic Hybrid doesn't normally use the 12v starter. The car is normally started from the 144v electric batteries. But if my hybrid is parked outside for longer than 2 hours at below -20, the 144v batteries are too cold and the engine needs to be started from the 12v starter instead. So instead of starting under 1 second with the 144v battery, it takes over 2 seconds to crack start from the 12v battery. That, and I'm not accustom to hearing the cranking sound from my normally quiet car.

Oh it's quite cold.

I should make a clip of my oil pressure gauge when I start my engine.... and I'm running Mobil 1 10w-30 :Q :Q :Q

Yes, a tank. I drive a 1987 Ford Crown Victoria 4 door sedan. All metal, v8, rear drive and 2 tons of import squashing vehicle.

LoL, even Winnipeg is warmer than you (-34 with windchill today).
Hey, I found 2 more HSF including an old SuperRock. That thing is huge.

I am putting together a care package of them for you. I haven't forgotten, but have been very busy and very low on funds. Things are looking better and I will be moving soon.

I had to go outside. From to car to the mall and my hands fscking froze.

I am not looking forward to being outside tomorrow (walkign to subway, walking to friend's house, going to resturant etc).

I wonder what our low was in Jacksonville Florida.. Id guess we probably hit 40 at the air port and 30 at the beach. Boy thats cold 😛. High was likely mid 60's. I am too lazy to look it up.

-18C here in Gunnison Colo. two weeks ago it went down to -27C (-18F)

I've been going to school here for a while and I've seen it get below -20's. I guess the record here is -42C (-45F) in 1906.
