oh yeah that's the question i forgot, how big of a difference is it between manual and auto in this game? And what type of races are best for AWD, FR, FF, etc.? ie a FR car doesn't has as good handling or oversteers or something so it would be preferred on a straighter course, that type of stuff

I'd buy a PT Cruiser, only because you will eventually win all the "crappy" starter cars in the earler series.
