all wheel drive vans

I'm looking for a all wheel drive van with decent ground clearence for 7 passengers. Any suggestions. I have a yukon xl but hate having the kids climb over seat and they cant pull it forward without assistance.

The new GMC Acadia if you can spend $35K.

Sienna is the only van with AWD that I know of. Odyssey never offered it and Chrysler stopped making them I think in 2002.

I've owned 3 FS vans over the years, and I'd recommend an SUV for several reasons rather than a 4WD van.

By nature of their design, the center of gravity of vans is higher than an SUV, putting 4WD running gear under them further raises the CG making them more unstable than an SUV during emergency maneuvering. (until you've rolled a high CG vehicle you really don't appreciate how important this is 😉 the whole sky ground thing sucks)

Vans depreciate like they're on goddamn fire.

The frontal area in a van doesn't lend itself to being a good crush zone, particularly in front offset collisions, think broken legs, feet, pelvis in a frontal collision.

If you're determined to try one, pick up an older one for a song & try it out to see if it'd meet your needs before buying a new one & get hit with the massive depreciation.

You can score an older custom van for a few thousand $, run it for a few months see if it's a fit, get rid of it & order a new 4WD (I know Chevrolet makes one, just looked it up)
