If we do something, it will be directed towards the terrorists, not Afganistan as a whole. Afganastanians are not bad as a whole (remember the ship stuck at Australia trying to flee Afganastan?)
So here's my take on it... We kill some terrorists, they might strike back, so we kill more. No countries are really involved unless we
a) punish them for harboring or defending the llama terrorists
b) strike first
I dont see where a "world war III" is really going to develop if we punish a few terrorists or the whole terrorist faction. Does a country really want the smackdown from the U.S. for defending a few worthless souls? I doubt it.
