This deal has happened recently and it is a good scanner. If you are in need of a scanner pay the $10!

Thanks JumpOnDeals - by the way great site!

You can add item #436642 which has a $3 rebate to bring the total cost down a little more if you like. Then it comes out to $7 for the whole shebang. Just make sure to add 3.07 more in merchandise to your cart. BTW it's an EZ D Ring View Binder. Good deal. I wish it was like the last one where they paid us though...

Here's what I did (added the following items to my cart):

  1. SKU# 447103, Visioneer 4400 USB Scanner ($79.99)
  1. SKU# 432571, Microsoft Expedia Streets & Trips 2001 CD with $20 Mail-in ($29.97)
  1. Staples $20 of $100 purchase Coupon

So I get:

$79.99 (Scanner)
$29.97 (MS Software)
=$109.96 Total
-$20 (Coupon)
-$30 (Staples rebate)
-$30 (Visionner rebate)
-$20 (MSrebate)
=$9.96 Grand Total

I had some problems earlier with the transaction not going through, but everything is ok now. Sweet.

thegreatjeff, a similar deal has been posted earlier here. But all the details have changed now.
PrelateBishop, I don't know what your problem is. I did this deal myself with no problem.

Are we sure the BOTH rebates apply, that they aren't exclusive of each other?

I know, I know -- "send Staples a copy of the UPC". But I've had them reject that before, on a phone deal. I don't want that to happen again.

So are we SURE this will work?

EDIT: Original or a copy of the UPC Code

Says so not at the top, but at the bottom of the Staples rebate form.

:^D

good deal! Thanks steve! i added the Southwestern bell caller ID unit (item SWBFM112). I know you can get these real cheap elsewhere, i just figured hey, it's pretty much all i'm paying for, and i need a new one anyhow :) Thanks again for the great deal :) too bad that $30 off $100 isn't around still ;-)

We can use both.

Staples' rebate says we can send in either the original or a copy of the UPC, leaving us free to send the original UPC to Visioneer for their rebate. :^>

yeup, you can use both rebates because the staples one only requires a copy of the upc! =)

i did this deal with the expedia streets and trips a while back.

has anyone gotten the rebate back yet?

call staples csr to pm the store price on ms software to 19.97 (ad. on sunday 3/11/01) the total is now ---FREE---, not exactly free if you have to pay tax, for those who don't, well it's free. and yes, staple take the copy of upc of the product that have mir, i done this many time. but staples rebate will take a very, and imeans very, long time to get the check. but there is a 800 number if over 12 weeks, if you still remember this.

rule of thumb, always scan or copy the rebate and upc with all info. incase they lost your over the mail or they intentionally throw it to the trash can. this will back you up when you call them. save my ass twice.

drti-

Where do I get the $19.97 to pricematch? I'm afraid that will affect the coupon codes...

better be careful if you try to pricematch an item on an order that is a tricy deal. i tried to do that and they look your order very carefully and catch anything that seems not right. they charged me more and now i've got 2 cc charges!...vroom
