i like to run through FFA with a handgun when everybody else is
using something heavy. The weaker the handgun, the better. I'm
debating whether the silencer is more of a weakness or a strength

favorite maps: strike, killhouse and shipment (low player count), backlot

Zombie mod is cool. there is another that features WWII bolt
action snipers.

favorite perk/gun setup is the M16 with red sight/quick reload
or G36c with same perks.

players i can't stand are 'rokas' and 'jack'. Jack is a notorious
spawn killing noob often on Killhouse FFA maps.

the 'closet' and 'eA' clans seem to have a number of talented players.

One combo I like to go with is a good size TDM game, on that map with the farmhouse, equip the G3 + silencer + UAV jammer. I like that combo for pipeline too. The G3 is great because it is so strong and also has a good iron sight so it is no problem to give up a optic sight or scope for a silencer or GL. I also like using the pistols. They don't get enough use in games. A lot of games it is better to wait for the reload or worse knife them, when a pistol should be the best choice in that situation.

Man now that I think of it, I haven't even played COD4 online since the new maps came out. I was into the MP heavy, then I played through the SP and really enjoyed it so much I played it a few times. I want to check out that Chinatown map and that forest-y one, the latter might be excellent for my favorite G3 + silencer + UAV jammer combo.

I love the G3 + silencer + UAV jammer. It's what I use the most. It's especially good when playing hardcore and there are only 4 or 5 other people on the map.

I'd say my favorite map is Chinatown. I haven't played COD 1 but apparently it's basically the same map from that game, just a different setting. Second favorite would probably be Overgrown.

I've never played with any mods.

As far as clans, I'm not sure what there even is. The only one I can think of right now is cTx.

there are some enjoyable custom maps, if you can get them working (a real pain - thanks cod4 devs!)
