I was recently looking into video cards and I found that both ATI and Nvidia have a TON of "endings" on their cards....

Please arrange the following in order of their performance from greatest to least. If they're about equal, put them next to eachother 🙂

Don't get the X850 Pro. It's merely an X800 Pro clocked at X800 XT speeds. But without the 4 extra pipes. You would be better off just getting an X800 XT instead of an X800 Pro.

For the endings for ATI cards, they go like this

For nvidia is goes like

The 9800 cards are from a generation before... unless you're on a very tight budget then the 6600gt is the lowest of the bunch you should be considering.

this list is correct for almost all Direct X games. for Opengl games, move each Geforce card up 1 spot and for all games with DoomIII in the title, assume the Geforce cards all kill the ATI cards except for the 6600gt, which moves above the x800xl or xt in the chart.

I don't know what the order is between the 6800 GT, X800 XL, X850 Pro.

I out the X850 Pro down at the bottom because it's a 12 piper. But it's slightly higher X800 XT PE speeds may compensate.
