I wait until spring. Live with the dirt during the winter.

Ummm I don't know...go to a carwash![]()
It's -40 Fahrenheit here and I can still wash the car...just make sure you dry it before you leave (otherwise all the doors/locks will be frozen).
On a lighter note: you could encase the parking offenders' cars in ice as a means of expressing your displeasure at them taking your space.Originally posted by: Amused

You wait until the thaw. Or find a detail shop that will let you use one of their heated bays.
BTW, I feel your pain. It's -3 here.

How does a car wash freeze over?? All the carwashes I have seen are indoors (automatic and hand wash)?
I guess I have a 'northern' perspective on this?

Why are you concerned with washing your car if it's freezing out?
I'd be more concerned about staying the hell off the roads.

Exactly. We used to turn our backyard into a hockey rink back in MI this way.Originally posted by: slikmunks

Why even bother? If I were to take my car to the carwash right now (I live in NC, we just got hit big with some snow), by the time I drive back home my car will be caked again with muddy snow and salt.
WHAT'S THE POINT!!!!
