Trying t help a friend - he has a Gateway notebook and it needs a new power panel/lid. That's the small panel above the keyboard with the power and multimedia button.

Its a 7325GZ and the power button is broken. Appreciate any help you can provide.

May I suggest that you get online with Gateway and use the Chat option. This for sure will put in touch with someone who can best answer your question.

Good suggestion - looks like Gateway does not sell this part - I guess it's off to eBay of somewhere else.
