All sales final: What does it mean to you?

I just sold something to a customer and they came back five minutes later telling me they want a refund for it because they don't want it. Our store policy clearly states it on the receipt on on a piece of paper in front of customer's faces stating that ALL SALES ARE FINAL! They don't seem to understand what ALL SALES FINAL mean. Just because we're a kiosk they expect us to take back whatever it is. That is ridiculous!!!

Oh God, this job blows.

OK, sir, I'll take it back this one time. But I'm going to inspect it with a blacklight first, & it better still hold air.

All sales final means - Once it leaves this store it does not come back in.

Well you said it was on the reciept? Is there a sign that says that, I mean, how is he supposed to know until AFTER he buys it?

Also most states have laws that may protect someone that buys something. But depends on teh state. Heck the law even covers new cars now. Cooling off period or something in one state.

actually, depending on the state, the customer has a certain amount of time to return something. Here in michigan its 24 hours...we got sued a while ago over something like this

All sales final and he didn't want it? Oh well.
Now, all sales final and it was even mildly defective...we'd be having a talk.
