As I mentioned, you can't buy a DVD player in the US that's All-region or region free out of the box, but several have hidden menus to change the region setting. You can set it to 0 to disable the region check, or set it to whatever Region the DVD needs. Works out kinda the same.
I had a CyberHome CH-300 which worked pretty good, except it would "stretch" PAL 16:9 video on my TV. Apparantly this only happens when it's hooked up to 4:3 TVs, so if you have an HDTV you'll be good.
