just a heads up! next week alot of the stores are gonna hold all their PS2s
till the day after thanksgiving. Bring a sleeping bag or a chair.
hopefully no one will get trampled, some stores might hand out coupons
for the items to those in line, to avoid the stampede (darn spellcheck ain't worken). one way to get one (check the paper)!!!

Amazon had them again and again I am to late. All gone in less than four minutes. Anyone seen any filtering in to thier local stores? You would think with 100,000 units a week that there would be some stores that actually admit to getting more in. Every store I check said they do not expect any till after the first of the year. Well at least Best Buy admitted to getting more in. Just have to be lucky enough to be shopping there at the time I guess.

I think since getting PS2s is a legitimate interest for a lot of people on this forum. Instead of locking up all the threads, they should be kept on this thread which was initially meant to reduce the clutter and madness.

Also, I think that the majority of people on this forum have plenty of common sense to avoid outright scams. An additional warning from the mods should help everyone think twice before making photocopies of both sides of their CCs, and instead use things like Amex's Private payments.

Take each word on availability with a grain of salt and some skepticism and everyone should be fine.

I think you haven't had to moderate these forums and deal with all the problems related to the well publicized fraud or the multiple posts about bogus PS-2 sitings.

We have left this one thread on the subject open to try to help those who find real stock on PS-2's. It is now getting quite long, so I will start a ONE AND ONLY Official PS-2 thread. It will stay open as long as it stays cool and real, as this one has.

I got a playstation 2 at walmart B&M yesterday. They had like 10 shipped to them and sold out within 15 minutes.

Might wanna watch walmart for possible ps2 availability.
