I got home today and stuff is coming out of my pipes from everywhere, the toilet, shower, bathtubs, everything which obviously means there is a back-up in my main line. To get a snake into my main line you have to go through the roof. while i have never done it myself i have seen the plumber do it. i really have no money right now to hire a plumber and it is a saturday night so i am probably screwed until monday but is there anything i can do as of right now? i have a snake that is 25' long which probably wont do anything but i have tried pouring hot water/vinegar/draino down each drain all day and it's not working. would i just have to call the plumber on monday??? i say im a good 100' from the street and would probably need a 150' snake.

You, my friend, are screwed. You may have to suck it up and call a plumber.

Probably got roots or something clogging the sewer line.

Need Roto-Rooter. A wimpy hand snake won't help here. You might be able to rent an industrial rooter, but you risk damaging your sewer line.

Last time I had this done is was only like $75, and my drains worked better than ever. They then gave me these pellets that I was supposed to flush every 3 months or so that kill tree roots.

Hmm that sounds like a good idea, it would have to wait until Monday but I will probably just have to suck it up, ask my grandma for some $$$ and get Roto-Rooter
