No matter what kind of video I play or what player I use,(WMP, VLC, Real, Divx, Zoom), my videos are all *wavery*. I tried taking screenshots of the video playing but the images all just came out normal.
The only exception to this is if i play a video in Quicktime which I suspect isn't using my graphics card for displaying?

I have an MSI 6600GT using the latest drivers 81.98 I've only noticed this started up recently but I can't pinpoint what I could've done to mess it up.

Which codec of videos? All kinds or just DivX ones (example)?

Oh, for WMP see what video renderer you are using. Tools->Options->Performance->Advanced. See if the first 'use high quality' is checked or not. If it isn't, check it. If it is, uncheck it. See if that changes anything for WMP.

All kinds of video.

That "use high quality" trick worked for wmp, although all my other video players are still playing wavey videos.

Do you think its the video card or my codecs that are messed up?

Ok going in to VLC and deselecting "Overlay Video Output" fixed it in that player too.

Selecting "Use High Quality" in WMP also deselects video overlay for WMP. Could this mean my video card is b0rked?
