A friends computer running win2k has all multimeadia running at a faster speed? Music Cd's, DVD and Mp3's runnig at a faster speed.

Is there a setting in Win2k that I have overlooked?

Running a DVD in PowerDVD will appear to be in double time.

CD's running in Winamp has the same prob.

So I'm leaning towards a system setting but cannot find it.




 
Out of curiosity, what can you tell us about the system? I have a few Pentium3 systems with i810E-chipset motherboards that do this at work (all Windows2000 sounds play at what sounds like double-speed and double pitch). I think it's a driver problem, and if you have more specific info about the system maybe we can find some updated drivers to try.
 


Cool, maybe on the right track. However It was working fine 2 weeks ago with the same drivers.


I will get exact information when I see the system next.
