I currently own an MSI K7T-Turbo motherboard. However, I am experiencing some problems with the multipliers settings. Ihave my FSB at 140 and the mult at 10 and it boots at like 840 mhz. I have read about a fix for this on the web about doing a cold boot and saving it. When I do that I can get it to come up as 1400 mhz. I save it once it is at this setting but it never sticks. Whenver I turn my comp back on its at 840 again and I have to do a cold boot again. Does anyone know a fix for this problem. I need my computer to boot at 1400 everytime. I have the latest bios...2.7 and have tried almost every one with same results. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yep, anytime i changed away from the default settings for the CPU in the BIOS, and a crash or whatever happened, when i would press the reset button, it would jump my O/C of 900 down to like 550MHz.... as long as i power-cycled it, it would come back up at the requested speed.

Funny, though, because when I moved up from my K7T Pro 2A to an Iwill KK266-R, that never happened... hmmmmm Could be limited to MSI boards, je ne sais pas.

hope this helps.
