All Installed, but no noise, no fans, no beeps, - Problem Solved

I had so meticulously done this. Used the old woodworking saying - Measure twice, cut once.

I had done that, however as I had readjusted the cables for good airflow, one of the heavier cables had lifted the "Q connector" up off the pins enough to not make contact.

As I had in an old hard drive with XP Pro, the thing then booted up with the expected uCode.

I will update the bios soon and that should take care of this.

Found this problem by going around and pushing down on each connector again.

Apparently the mis-seating of the cpu is OK too.



This is an Asus P5b Deluxe wifi MB and e6400 CPU.

Very careful to install everything. Only little hiccup was the e6400 not seating well initially.

Got the main 24 pin plugged in, 4 pin plugged in, and DVD, floppy, and video all connected. All fans are in there appropriate place on MB. CPU fan goes to cpu fan connector.

The only thing I get is that the blue LED on the MB lights up.

Suggestions ?????
