Hello,

I have been using the All-in-Wonder 128 Pro video card for about a year now. I don't really play games much, but I do use it a lot for the TV capabilities and I am wanting to get into transferring videos (VHS, camcorder) digitally to DVD's via a burner.

Is there any advantage for me to upgrade to the AIW 7500 or AIW 8500DV? I see that the 8500DV has a digital tuner and I am wondering does that mean that the video capture from a VCR or camcorder is any better? I would like to to hav ethe best quality for my transfers. Just wondering if I am ok with what I have or if it is worth upgrading (I don't want to transfer my family's entire video collection more than once if I can help it!).

Thanks!

All video outputs, coaxial, composite and s-video, are analog. Therefore the quality of video capture will be the same as the nwer AIW cards.
The Rage Theather chip, chich takes care of the video decoding is new and offers some more options, and may be more efficient ( lower CPU usage) but you should check that out at the ATI web site...
