Can somebody who owns this card please help me. I am extremely interested in getting this card but want to know about the vid in quality.

What's the video quality like on the video in?
I had an older All-In-Wonder and the video in quality for everything (cable, s-video, composite) was pretty blurry and not good for anything except for tv. Has the video in quality improved from the olden days? I really want one of these cards but if it's blurry like it used to be I'm not interested.
I'd also be interested in connecting ps2 or xbox to it, would the quality be pretty shady for that???

Short answer is that the AIW cards have the best capture quality of all the consumer based video cards. They have mature drivers, and the MMC software package has evolved into a great multimedia suite. I have owned 3 AIW radeon cards and a Radeon VIVO, and all have had great image quality with video in. I would think the AIW 8500 128 is no exception.

Of course during the period of using my AIW's for video capture/editing (last 2 years) Users report that their AIW radeons range from unstable/unusable to "works fantastic" so I'd have to say that the AIW cards are capable of very good IQ with video capture, but its very dependant on the particular user, the configuration of the rig its used in and the persistance of the user.

I currently own a AIW 8500dv (the 64mb one with the digital video port). rbV5 pretty much said it all, and I'm totally satisfied with my video in quality. I'm a BIG video editor/video capturer/3D renderer/encoder/decoder. I pretyt much do it all with videos, dvds, etc. and I couldn't be any happier with any other card right now :)
