All in wonder question

I have a Gateway MCE pc. It is a X2 4200, 2 gigs of ram and a 300 gig HD. It has a tv tuner already installed, my question is, if I bought a AIW x1800xl with the tv tuner, number one, is it even possible to run two seperate tv tuners and 2 if it is possible, could i have 2 tv screens going at the same time??

I dont see where the other thread is at, so I will post my comment here:

Ati is terrible at working with any other video card or video add in thing besides its own.

the Catalyst net framework thing loves to crash and destroy you computing experience if you have another companies product in the machine. Once you turn off the catalyst suite of things, you kinda just disabled your main vid card that costed you a few hundred to several hundred dollars for a crap lil dink tv tuner.

best bet is to get the lite version of a 550 card along with an all-in-wonder card.

Not to say that you cant make it work... but.... I have used mult vid cards in systems where ati was primary. Matrox as primary, it works fine. nvidia, well, it used to dont know about now. ati, nah its Boss Hog. i still use them though, but i gave up all add on cards and stuff when I do.

You could TRY it 🙂 never would hurt. if the 2nd card is dinky enough and doesnt have a lot of drivers and functions, it might just work ok. BUT when you install new ati drivers, removign the old ones first of course, you might get stuck with your system wigging out on you. I had to configure my new drivers and card choices blindly. that sucked.
